• The third meeting of Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of National Academy of RUDSETI was held at Dharmasthala on 14th June 2013 under the Chairmanship of Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, President of National Academy of RUDSETI .
  Sri. R.K. Dubey, Chairman & Managing Director, Canara Bank and Sri. Anjaneya Prasad, Executive Director, SyndicateBank other members of Board of Trustees and Executive Committee participated in the meeting.
  Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade observed that during the last 4 years of its functioning, National Academy of RUDSETI has created an impact among the stakeholders of Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETIs) by effectively training the Directors and Faculty and also by mentoring and monitoring the Institutes. He opined that acceptance of the RUDSETI model by the Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India and their MOU with National Academy of RUDSETI has opened a new chapter in RUDSETI movement. The initiatives taken in terms of MOU with the Ministry has enabled the establishment of RSETIs and also putting in place the required infrastructure, resources, administrative and training practices in the Institutes in a missionary mode, he added.

  Board of Trustees appreciating an exhibition of the publications of NAR
• Appreciation Workshop on RSETIs at JAIPUR
  A Three day’s Appreciation Workshop on RSETIs was conducted from 08 April 2013 to 10April 2013 at Jaipur for the Project Directors' of DRDA and Nodal Officers' / Executives of Banks who are monitoring the activities of their respective RSETIs in the State of Rajasthan .
  The workshop was inaugurated by Sri.Kishan A S, I.A.S Mission Director SRLM of Rajasthan state Secretay ,Rural Development Department, Government of Rajasthan addressed the participants to take interest in nurturing the RSTIs and to make use of them in the NRLM of the country. Ms. Renuka Kumar Dy Sec MoRD GOI also enlightened the participants.
  During the Workshop, the RSETI model of Entrepreneurship Development, the concept of Entrepreneurial Competencies, Attitude, Motivation, Entrepreneurship were explained. There was an interaction with successful Entrepreneurs at RUDSETI Jaipur and the participants deliberated the role of various agencies in effective functioning of RSETIs.
