- Manual of Standard Practices for RSETIs:
The complete Manual developed by National Academy of RUDSETI was printed and copies submitted to Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India for issuing necessary instructions to Banks for adoption & implementation of Standard Practices uniformly in RSETIs of all Banks.
- 2nd Meeting of Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of the National Academy of RUDSETI was held at Dharmasthala on 19 March 2012.

Appreciation Workshop on RSETIs to the Nodal Executives of Banks and DRDA officials of West Bengal was conducted at Kolkata from 30th January to 1st February, 2012.
Shri Paritosh Roy, Deputy Secretary (RD), Govt. of West Bengal, inaugurated the 3 days Workshop on 30.01.2012. The Workshop was held at UCO Bank Central Staff College, Salt Lake City, Kolkata. Ms. Renuka Kumar, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. Of India, presided over the function. Sri S.K.Rana, General Manager, Canara Bank, Circle Office, Kolkata and Sri L.K Panda, Deputy General Manager, Principal, UCO Bank Central Staff College graced the occasion.
The Workshop was attended by the Nodal Bank executives from 7 Banks and Project Directors/Deputy Project Directors from all the 18 Districts of West Bengal of Govt. Departments.

20th Batch of 10 day’s Trainers Training Programme (TTP)on Entrepreneurship Development was commenced from 6th February, 2012
At Hotel Citadel, Bangalore. 29 RSETI Directors/Faculty from all over India are participating. The Training Programme was inaugurated by Sri N.Narasa Reddy, Ex-General Manager, Canara Bank.
Dr. Veerendra Heggade, President, National Academy of RUDSETI, visited the Training on 8th February, 2012 and had an interaction with the participants.
Sri Heggade exhorted the participants that this is a life time opportunity for them to serve the people and they should consider it as a privilege. He advised them to build the confidence of rural youth through well tested and proven RUDSETI model for entrepreneurship development. He also stressed the importance of settlement of the trained beneficiaries.

Evaluation Study of Synd RSETI, Kollam, Kerala - was conducted by H.Somashekar, Director General, NAR from 23 to 25 January 2012.
Evaluation Study of ASETI, Pudupudur (Coimbatore), Tamil Nadu - was conducted by D.T.Ramanuja, Director, NAR from 24 to 25 January 2012.
Evaluation Study of Andhra Bank RSETI, Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh - was conducted by N.R.Srinivasa Murthy, Director, NAR from 23 to 24 January 2012.
Evaluation Study of RUDSETI, Hazipur, Bihar – was conducted by H.Somashekar, Director General , NAR from 2 to 3 Feburary 2012.
Evaluation Study of RUDSETI, Behrampore, West Bengal – was conducted by N.R.Srinivasa Murthy, Director, NAR from 2 to 3 February 2012.
Evaluation Study of RUDSETI, Bhubaneswar, Orissa - was conducted by D.T.Ramanuja, Director, NAR from 3 to 4 February 2012.
- Dr. D Veerendra Heggade, President of National Academy of RUDSETI addressed the Directors of RSETI’s participating in Trainers’ Training Programme on Entrepreneurship Development, at Dharmasthala on 3rd January 2012. His message – "Lot of changes have taken place in the socio-economic conditions of the country. The youth who are not able to access the fruits of development may develop negative attitude. It is the responsibility of the RSETI’s to attract them, orient them , give training and motivate them to take up self-employment. This is a life time opportunity to the RSETI Directors to build confident and develop Human Resources".
- Sri.N.S.Srinath, Executive Director of Bank of Baroda : Interacted with the Directors of RSETI’ participating Trainers Training Programme on 3rd January 2012 at Dharmasthala. Sri.Srinath called upon the Directors of RSETI to involve people from all walks of life including industries, officials of govt departments and NGO’s for the purpose of empowering un-employed youth and reach out to large number of people. He advised them to develop certain skills among the youth,which are useful to establish micro enterprises, so that everybody shall reap the fruits of development.
- Sri.K.S.Prabhakar Rao, General Manager, Canara Bank. Priority Credit Wing, while addressing the Directors of RSETI on the valedictory function of Trainers’ Training Programme on 5th January 2012 has said that the Director is a creator with a vision and dreams. He creates everything out of nothing. He called upon the Directors to think like a visionary and give right motivation and training to the un-employed youth.
- Ms.M.S.Renuka Kumar, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development, Govt of India addressed the RSETI Directors on the valedictory function of Trainers’ Training Programme on Entrepreneurship Development Programme on 5th January 2012. She has called upon the Directors to become Entrepreneurs themselves and develop youth as an Entrepreneurs. She advised them to follow the systems and procedures and constantly upgrade their knowledge and excel in their performance.

Your sincerity and dedicated work with commitment will enable the society to understand what RSETI is"
- National Academy of RUDSETI has conducted, for the first time, “Appreciation workshop on RSETIs to the Nodal Officers of Banks and project Directors of DRDA at Pune on 5 & 6 December 2011.
- National Academy of RUDSETI has conducted 2 days workshop on enhancing efficacy of staff of Twinklers Educational Institutions, Bangalore on 10 & 11 December 2011.
- NAR has conducted Evaluation Study of RUDSET Institute, Anantapur and Synd RSETI, Belgaum.
