Trainers Training Programme for the Directors/ Faculty of RSETIs was inaugurated by Sri. Umesh Bhat on 04 March 2013. A total number of 37 Directors & Faculty from various RSETIs participated in the programme. The Programme was conducted in Hotel Crocus, Bommanahalli, Hosur Road Bangalore. As part of Training programme, participants were also taken for an exposure visit to enterprises of successful Entrepreneurs of RUDSETI and Nelamangala & Ujire RUDSETIs.
Padmabhushana Dr. D Veerendra Heggade, President of National Academy of RUDSETI has interacted with the participants and inspired them to first develop confidence in the RSETI concept so that they can lead their RSETI i successfully in empowering the youth and doing justice for the assignment for which they have been chosen Dr. H. Harish Hande Managing Director SELCO-India Magsaysay Award winner (2011) and Social Entrepreneur was the chief Guest for the valedictory Function, the other guest was Sri. S S Bhat General Manager Priority Sector Credit & Financial Inclusion Wing Head Office Canara Bank .
Training programme on Entrepreneurship Development to the Master Trainers of Future Sharp Skills Ltd. was inaugurated by Sri. N. Narasareddy, Gen Manager (Rtd.) of Canara Bank on 4th February 2013. 15 Master Trainers of FSSL from different regions of the country participated in the Training. The participants were taken for exposure visit to Micro & Small Enterprises units of RUDSETI trained Entrepreneurs at Nelamangala and Ujire and also SHG s and SIRI project of SKDRDP at Belthangady and Ujire. The participants also visited RUDSETI Nelamangala & Ujire and interacted with the trainees undergoing training at RUDSETI.
In the valedictory programme at Dharmasthala on 14 February 2013, president of National Academy of RUDSETI Padmabhushana Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade interacted with the participants, addressed them and gave away the certificates to the participants. Sri. Muralidhar Rao, CEO of FSSL and Sri. Venkatasubramaniam, Chief of Operations,FSSL, participated in the Valedictory Programme.

A total number of 41 Directors & Faculty from various RSETIs participated in the programme. The Programme was conducted in Hotel Crocus, Bommanahalli, Hosur Road Bangalore.
Padmabhushana Dr. D Veerendra Heggade, President of National Academy of RUDSETI has interacted with the participants and inspired them to dedicate the remaining part of their banking service in serving the rural youth through RSETIs so as to create powerful India by 2020.
On 28th Jan 2013 ,Sri. S S Bhat, GM, Canara Bank, Priority Sector Credit & Financial Inclusion Wing, Head Office, inaugurated the 6 days’ training programme on Priority Sector Credit & Rural Development organized by National Academy of RUDSETI. for of Canara Bank. 28 Rural Officers from different Circles of Canara Bank participated in the training programme.
In the training programme, topics on priority sector concept & classification, Direct & Indirect agricultural lending, High Tech projects, Financial Inclusion, promotion of SME, Govt Sponsored schemes, etc., were covered . Also, one day exposure visit was arranged in association with SKDRDP Dharmasthala, where in the participants visited two SHGs and One Prgathi Bandhu JLG to get the feel of formation and successful running of these kind of organizations.
The workshop was inaugurated by Sri.Prakash Kumar, General Manager, SIDBI. Sri. Raghavendra Rao,IAS Principal secretary,Rural Development Department, Government of Haryana,addressed the participants on the valedictory function and distributed the certificates to the participants.

Dr. D Veerendra Heggade, President of NAR interacted with the participants at Dharmasthala on 1 November 2012.. During the interaction he informed the participants that hitherto they performed the role of a Banker where as now they act as change agents bringing smiles on the faces of disgusted and rejected unemployed youth .Such youth will not be having hopes in the life and definite Goal for their life. The task is not simple but not impossible also hence advised the participants to make full use of this 3-5 years assaignment bestowed on them by the God.
A RSETI Appreciation Workshop for three days was conducted from 19-21 November 2012 at Lucknow for Project Directors of DRDA and Bank Executives monitoring the RSETIs , Officials and Nodal Officers' / Executives of Banks who are monitoring the activities of RSETIs in the state of Uttar Pradesh, at SIRD,Bakshi ka Talab Lucknow, UP State to create awareness about RSETI movement.
The workshop was inaugurated by Ms. Renuka Kumar Dy. Secretary MoRD ,GOI. 71 participants comprising various Banks LDMs’,Projecr Directors & RSETI Diretors attended the workshop. The concept of entrepreneurship development and functioning of RSETIs were explained to the participants. They were also taken to BSVS Lucknow for getting firsthand knowledge & information of how RSETIs function. Trainers’ Training Programme on Entrepreneurship Development for the Directors/Faculty of RSETIs (B.No.27) was conducted from 10 – 22 December 2012 at Bengaluru, 34 Directors and Faculty from 34 RSETIs participated in the training programme. Shri.Ravindra Bhandari, General Manager, Canara Bank, Bengaluru Metro Circle, inaugurated the programme. Shri.Harish Iyengar, General Manager, (Retd. SIDBI) was the Chief Guest of the programme. As part of the programme the participants were taken to Exposure visit to the units of RUDSETI trained Entrepreneurs, RUDSETI Institute, Ujire and RUDSET Institute, Nelamangala.
During the Training programme the Participants were also taken to RUDSETI Nelemangala and RUDSETI Ujire where in they were exposed as to how to maintain the Institutes , keep records, methodology of collecting and selection of applications, mode of conducting Trainings for unemployed youth , pre training and post training steps to be initiated etc. The participants were also made to interact with visionary Dr. D Veerendra Heggade, President of NAR. During the interaction he clarified the doubts and problems expressed by the participants and further he also advised the them to have mission in life. He also emphasized in the present context the Directors’ of RSETIs should aim at alleviating poverty through self employment by creating opportunities for the unemployed youth in their area of operation. He encouraged the participants to face the problems/challenges so as to keep themselves physically fit to adopt “Hum Honge Kamyab” policy. The certificates were handed over to the Participants by DR. Veerendre Hegade.
A workshop for three days from 06-08 August 2012 was organized involving Project Directors' of DRDA who are coordinating with RSETIs, Officials from NABARD/SIDBI who are involved in entrepreneurship development and promotion of Micro Enterprises and Nodal Officers' / Executives of Banks who are monitoring the activities of their respective RSETIs at State Institute of Rural Development, Ranchi of Jarkhand State to create awareness about RSETI movement.“Rural Self Employment Training Institutes(RSETI) are privileged to up lift a sinking person and give hope that here is an organization to help him to shape the future” said Dr.D.Veerendra Heggade while addressing the participants of 22nd batch of Trainers’ Training Programme on Entrepreneurship Development on 26 May 2012 at Dharmasthala. He felt that it’s a rare opportunity to the Bank Officers to do different work in the service of the country. He called up on the RSETI Directors to give courage, hope, support and encouragement to the unemployed youth and be innovative. He advised them to enjoy the profession.
